Melbourne Storm Gets Downgraded At Dairyfarmers

This week, they kicked ass against the Storm at home, 40-8.
Poor Ty Williams, broke the the bone above his ankle in two places and will now miss pretty much all of the season. I never saw the game, so I don't actually know what happened, but apparently (this comes from Renee), Billy Slater from the Storm, had something to do with it. Ty is taking it really well, well he can't take it badly can he, not much he can do about it, anyway, what with the cylcone going through Innisfail and the carnage caused by Larry, he thinks that he's gotten off pretty light compared to his hometown.
Other injuries consist of Jacob Lillyman - a week or two - with a knee injury and Neil Sweeney has been given time to see if his back worries subside.
Gonna miss them, but Brenton Bowen will step up, along with Josh Hannay, so I think we'll be pretty safe.
Renee loves him so much though and will really miss him.Posted by Picasa
